Fibla will be playing in the first edition of ”Ebre, Music and Heritage” organised by Museu de Terres de l’Ebre. For this first edition, they have set twelve concerts in twelve historical and singular spaced of Terres de l’Ebre (Tarragona): museums, natural spaces, cultural landscapes and archaeologic spaces, to enjoy special concerts curated for the ocasion with classical music, experimental, traditional and electronica.
Fibla will be playing with Adrià Grandia a piece created for the occasion, “IV or Covafosca” at the space Abric IV at the Hermitage of Ulldecona. Adrià Grandia is a master of the viola, a very ancient, extremely physical and tangible that he manipulates with pedals and loops. We know him betterfor his incursions in pop music (with Astrud and Col·lectiu Brossa) or in contemporary music (with Santi Picó). Grandia and Fibla have inspired by the Cova Frosca or Abric IV to compose, at four hands and several chips, an ambient music, fossil, dark and full of magical resonances, full of drones and prehistoric winds. A once and only occasion and a performance site-specific in an a very special space such is Abric IV.
