BRADIEN add new dates to their calendar. They'll be part of Emergència 2010, a minifestival checking the newest sounds of the independent scene that takes place in CCCB on February 13th. A festival that give will present names which destiny is to be huge: Pony Bravo, Mujeres, María Rodes and BRADIEN between many others. Last but not least BRADIEN and poet Eduard Escoffet unite efforts again to present a show midway between the melodic loops of the first ones and the hammering texts of the other. This show was premiered in Es Baluard (Mallorca) on July 18, and now we have another chance to get them together in big venue of L'Antic Teatre (February 16th and 26th). they'll be part of Emergència 2010, a minifestival checking the newest sounds of the city that takes place in CCCB on February 13th. They also will be part of Murcia SOS 4.8 festival on 30 april in a big festival including Franz Ferdinand in the line-up. Wow. BRADIEN are the guest stars in television program "Tallers Sonors" where they unveil their way to work and guide us in a tour through their studio. Lots of secrets revealed about all the details in their music, including a show of all the gadgets and percussion things they used in the making of their album "Linden". Also they have a walk through Gràcia where they are based, talk about their collaborators and play "Daligado" from "Linden". Lovely piece, indeed!!

BAFF (Barcelona Asia Film Festival) invited FIBLA and ARBOL to create a new soundtrack for the Taiwan cult movie "Goodbye, Dragon Inn" by helmer Tsai Ming Liang (Taiwan, 2003). The result was an impresive show presented in Apolo (Barcelona) where music and images are perfectly interwoven and where the broken textures by Fibla fit nicely with the melancholy of Arbol melodies and lyricism of violinist Sara Pérez. This show was also presented in Territorios Festival (Sevilla), Caixa Forum (Madrid) and SonarSound in New York. One year later FIBLA and ARBOL go back to the studio where they have been reworking in those same tracks now released under the title of "Bu san". Beautiful and ghostly cover by Nano and inlay pictures by Jordi Azategui. Available on spa.RK store and in your favorite local record store!

Our new bid for 2009 shows every sign of becoming the most distinctive in spa.RK's discography: with their first full length LP, BRADIEN establish their name amidst the most selected and warm instrumental pop projects. Think about Maher Shalal Hash Baz, think about Ibon Errazkin. Bradien is a band – yes! a band! - formed in 2005 and currently made up of three musicians that play bass, trumpet, melodica, xylophone and guitar . Their album "Linden" is an original and charming record, having a trace of melancholic, summery nostalgia – that captivates us. Here we have the much awaited bRUNA's debut, certainly a growing name in Spanish electronica scene who with just a couple of tracks on myspace became rapidly a favorite of critics. New edition o∫f the Barcelona’s International Festival of Advanced Music and Multimedia Art, Sónar 2009 and new presence of Catalan! Music in the fair. From 18th to 21st June in the professional space of the festival is installed a stand Catalan! Music. The new compilation edited by the ICIC will be inserted in the bags of professionals that the Sónar 2009 prepares. You'll find the track "Don't Give Up" from bRUNA's album "At It Matters to Me to See You Smiling" included in the CD. Other names in the compilation are Strange2, Dosem, Ferenc, Metroxylon, Monoceros, Logical Disorder, Lucious Works Here, Suite on Clouds or Guillamino, selected and sequenced by great Javier Blánquez. .TAPE. is always moving in new and unexplored territories. His new adventure shows he is absolutely fearless. He's again working with La Carnicería Teatro, the subversive theatre company leaded by Rodrigo Garcia, where he is at charge of the music of the play onstage. La Carnicería new play will send him travelling around the world as the play will be presented in Paris, Varsovia, Palermo, Mexico DF, Toulouse and his hometown Gijón. Also he has remixed a track from Moira Stewart band, right night only available on myspace but soon to be released on proper cd. Ah! And he'll be in Barcelona as part of Penca Catalogue band, his mate Luisfer's project, that will be playing in Sonar Festival after Pau Riba and his new project. A weird evening to be remembered!

New adventure by Decoder Muzique, the company that handles the distribution of spa.RK in Spain and many other interesting labels. In a few days they are launching the first Spanish music store focused on underground dance music and independent pop-rock, in all formats - vinyl, cd, downloads. We already knew it but everytime we get our eyes in Japanese record stores we rediscover that these guys are passionate fans and real connaisseurs. Soon avalaible this killer 12" released on Spanish label Semantica with FIBLA pairing with Andy Stott in two excellent remixes of Vladislav Delay track "Recovery Idea". It seems that vinyl edition has been delayed, but digital edition is already available. This is what boomkat says about it: "Fibla focuses on the neon undercurrent of Delay's source material and exposes a squashed 4/4 tapestry that introduces some clipped distortion and complex beats into the equation, something that this artist has ample experience with"..

EEDL long awaited return has already been released! We have received bunches of emails asking about the album and some people already got their copy at Sonar 2007. So the time of waiting is over and "Everse", that is the title of the album, is ready to be discovered. Joan and Miguel have been working hard in their sounds, always paying a lot of attention to details and production and giving to their tracks a personal touch, Eedl trademark, that fine balance between different languages, broken rhythms and massive melodies. While we finish the compilation of the remixes of .TAPE. album "Paintings" with a really incredible line-up of artists (stay tunned for more info), .tape. has been busy looking for all the tracks he has been delivering since 2002 in diferent labels around the world from Japan to Mexico, including Spain, France and Germany. Now he releases a compilation with all this tracks - some of them vinyl exclusive - in US label Other Electricities with the title "Tomavistas. Selected rarities (2002-2007)". Seven years after his debut for Sub Rosa/Quatermass label with “Landscopes”, and four years since the 2003 release of his second album “Lent” on spa.RK, Fibla’s intrincate melodies and distintive rhytmic patterns were highly missed. Stealing minutes from his leisure time, unhurried, Fibla made this “Liants”. On his live set at Sonar 2007 he was already playing tracks from this new album, but now it's time to discover all the treasures it hides.
